What’s that? There’s something video game related going on, as well? You know what, YOU’RE RIGHT! All the Grand Theft Auto games are on a massive sale on Steam and Gamersgate!
…what? Blizzard? What about a blizzard? I mean I know we’ve got snow in the forecast here in Montana, but that’s because it’s, you know, Montana.
…OH! Right. BlizzCon. That thing. Well, we all know that there’s a new WoW expansion coming up, so expect some commentary on that next week. Neither myself nor Mister Adequate is a huge WoW junkie at this point, but we both have fond memories of the game and I’m sure we’ll come up with something to say. As for me, I’m going to continue playing Final Fantasy I. I think I’m over halfway done at this point. What are you guys doing this weekend?
Actually, I’m playing the Phantasy Star games. Oh, and Shining Force. Sure, they’re not on the original platforms but… I got a Sega games pack for the XBox360, so I’m having fun with that. Played a bit of WoW to get my Feline Familiar pet, will play a bit more but eh. Even with my Alt-itis I’m getting rather bored again. I don’t dungeon, I’m not in a raid guild. I’m awkwardly shy in game (tho those who know me would say I don’t shut up!) so it gets boring fast.
I forgot all about blizzcon until I discovered that MMO-Champion was intermittently down. Ah well. I’ll probably spend my time either leveling my new rogue or watching some anime. (Need to finish rereading You Awaken in Razor Hill, too, but that’s almost done.)
Pandareen… I knew when I saw this on my twitter feed I’d get a screaming fanboy back home and you bet I did. First he said when I came in was: “OMG I WILL COME BACK TO WOW” . As for me? maybe… but the thing -I- cannot wait is Diablo 3 collector’s edition. There will be shiney wingz… I am almost going over my disdain for their “make money out of in game stuff” mechanic. Who am I kidding, I already did. Yes I am ashamed of myself… but but butbutWINGZ!
Re-sub to WoW for a year, get Diablo 3 for free…….they are sweetening the deal. :)
